Debra
is the Associate for Children's
Formation. Blessed with the opportunity to be involved
with the youngest members of our parish, she oversees Children's
Chapel, the new "Infant and Toddler Center", Catechesis
of the Good Shepherd and the "BLAST" Sunday school
program for fourth, fifth and sixth graders. She also manages
yearly church events such as: the Advent Festival, the children’s
Christmas Eve service and Summer Fest..
To meet the needs of our congregation, Debra is committed
to making sure children's programming and care will help
provide the foundation for their spiritual lives. Debra
welcomes suggestions from the parents as she is always looking
for ways to make each of these areas better.
Debra became a member of Church of the Holy Communion in
2000 and has been active in lay ministry, social ministry
and adult education. She and her husband, Richard are native
Memphians and are thrilled to be raising their daughter
Katherine with the help of the ministry at Holy Communion.
