Church
of the Holy Communion is increasingly a place where parishioners
are encouraged to pay balanced attention to caring for mind, body
and spirit - to foster connections with one's self, with one's family,
with one's community and with God. And there are lots of ways to
work on that balance and to "plug in" here at Church of
the Holy Communion.
At various times during each year, there are a variety of classes
on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, and at other times, focusing
on everything from Bible study to getting organized - from pluralism
to interpersonal relationships.
Our
small groups provide a unique way of connecting with other Christians
over time while studying a number of spiritual and theological topics.
Many of these small groups meet on Wednesday evenings, following
our weekly Church Family Together dinners. They're a great way to
get to know fellow parishioners in an informal setting, and we hope
you plan on joining us regularly, whether or not you're participating
in a class or group.
There are organizations
for men and women, for those interested in intercessory prayer and
those simply interested in getting to know one another better. There
are numerous sports and recreation activities for children and youth
as well as regular offerings in yoga and Tai Chi. Come
learn and live with us here at Church of the Holy Communion.

this day into a vehicle that proclaims our Christian hope by carving
a pumpkin with a symbol of a saint, a cross, or other sacred symbol
so that the light of the gospel shines in the darkness. You and/or
your household are invited to bring your sacred, carved pumpkin
for display during the 5:30 p.m. service.
