Whether

direction for troubled relationships or help in recovering from divorce, you can
find resources to help you here at Church of the Holy Communion.
Getting Married at CHC
We enjoy celebrating with couples who seek the churchs
blessing for their marriage. Being members of the parish is not
required for couples to be married here. To be married at Holy
Communion, either bride or groom must be baptized, and the couple
must complete an inventory called PREPARE and take part in a two-hour
interpretation of that inventory that focuses on a couples
strength and growth areas. The couple is required to attend one
of our Good Beginnings: Engaged Couples Workshop events
and must use the ceremony based on The Book of Common Prayer.

Marriage Enrichment
Our commitment to Holy Matrimony also includes providing periodic
Marriage Enrichment events. Some of these are in the context of
our Sunday morning or Wednesday evening spiritual formation activities
and some are weekend workshops. Classes and workshops are led
by clergy, trained lay leaders, and by recognized leaders from
the community with skills and interests in these areas. These
events are generally for couples with good marriages who just
want to bump it up a notch; they are not intended as therapy for
troubled marriages. The content is a mixture of fun, good tips,
and opportunities for couples to focus on their relationship in
a way you cant always while youre busy trying to manage
day to day life. Watch the various communications sources of the
parish for exact dates and times. To read articles about strengthening
