The ministry of Monica & Heidi
 Church of the Holy Communion, along with St. Mary’s
Cathedral, Grace-St. Luke’s and Calvary, are sponsoring
missionaries Heidi Schmidt and Monica Vega this year as
they minister to those whose lives have been touched by the
AIDS virus in South Africa. Monica and Heidi have begun
their ministry of feeding and caring for some of the nearly
forgotten orphans in the villages of Ilinge and Bolotwa whose
parents have died in the epidemic. They have also used
some of the money sent by CHC and the other churches to
purchase simple recreational equipment and a few musical
instruments.
