Several support groups currently meet in space provided by Church of the Holy Communion.

Alzheimer's Caregivers

Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group meets at Church of the Holy Communion in Room 307, Cheney Parish Hall from noon until 1:00 PM on the 4th Thursdays Jan. thru Oct. and the 3rd Thursdays Nov. & Dec. Bring sack lunch. Beverages provided. The group is for those caring for family members and friends who have Alzheimer's or related disorders.

Grief & Bereavement

Grief and Bereavement Ministry Team’s purpose is to devise programs to attend to the emotional and spiritual needs of those in the parish experiencing grief or bereavement. Support groups and special programs are offered periodically.

Recovery

This self-help group has been meeting at Church of the Holy Communion for 30 years and assists those suffering with any chronic nervous condition or those who have suffered a nervous breakdown. The group meets Thursdays at 1 p.m. in Room 311. The facilitator is David Baker.

Serenity

This 12-step support group for Alcoholics Anonymous meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m. in the Blaisdell Dining Room. The group has been meeting at Holy Communion for over 20 years and all persons who have a problem with alcohol addiction and abuse are welcome.
