Elizabeth Coldiron

Minister of Hospitality

Holy Communion Staff

Elizabeth Coldiron joined the Holy Communion staff in August 2015 after serving a year in the Episcopal Service Corps in Davis, California. She worked as the assistant to the Reverend Kathy Hopner, director of children, youth and family ministries at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Sacramento.
While in California, Elizabeth also worked as an intern for the Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry at UC Davis. One of her favorite experiences was being a listener at The Listening Post. Several times a week, she would sit in the UC Davis quad and listen to those who wished to be heard. She says these skills are used every day here at Holy Communion!

Elizabeth graduated from Louisiana State University. She is a certified English teacher. Music is important in her life. In college, she was manager of the Golden Band from Tigerland, member of the national honorary band fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi and president of the international music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota. She is also an alumna of Kappa Alpha Theta, the first Greek-letter fraternity for women.

Elizabeth enjoys young adult literature, keeping up with friends from around the country and meeting strangers wherever she goes.
