Tai Chi

Tai Chi's slow, graceful, meditative movements have many health benefits and can help improve flexibility, coordination and balance. Quigong is a sequence of slow, gentle fitness exercises that focus on breathing and stretching. It improves blood circulation, increases the utilization of oxygen and fosters a calm, relaxed mental and emotional state. Cost: $8 per class. Drop-ins are welcome. Wear comfortable clothes for easy movement. Classes are in the new Wellness Facility in Room 209. Class Payment Options: (convenience fees will be added for online payments)

A well-balanced combination of vinyasa and hatha yoga, each class explores multiple pose categories, including standing, twisting, hip and shoulder opening, forward and back bending. Expect options and variations to create an appropriate level of challenge or ease that works for you. **These classes may utilize the Great Yoga Wall in portions of the class. The Great Yoga Wall acts as a partner to help find stability, strength, flexibility, or traction depending on focus and level of the class. Teachers give very specific instruction to help acclimate students to the Wall. Wall experience is not necessary or expected. Classes are held in the new Wellness Facility in Room 211.

Bored with your workout? Then join the party! Zumba is a cardio and sculpting dance-exercise class that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a fun and energizing workout.
Classes are resuming April 19 in the McNeill Family Gymnasium at Holy Communion.

An 8-week results based journey! The class includes high-intensity interval training (HIT) workouts designed to challenge, empower and recharge you. Nutrition, guidance, recipes and meal planers are provided to educate and guide you toward healthy eating habits. This program also includes online workouts, accountability and a supportive community.

Yoga is for all age groups. It moves at a slower pace and yoga pose alignment is a focus for the class. The benefits of yoga are many. It gently stretches, removes tension and opens up the body. It also focuses the mind and teaches the practitioner to use the breath as a tool for relaxing the body. Come and increase your strength and flexibility and experience the benefits Yoga can add to your life. Classes are held in the new Wellness Facility in Room 209 or 211. Drop-ins are welcome.
