West Tennessee Haiti Partnership
Church of the Holy Communion is committed to the life of the West Tennessee Haiti Partnership (WTHP). This ministry is the commitment of the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee to be in companion relationship with the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti in five ways: education, food, healthcare, learning and water. Our current, primary work is with the communities of St. Paul's Church & School Montrouis and St. Vincent's Center for Handicapped Children Port-au-Prince. Through interfaith and ecumenical relationships, we strive to the work of God we have been given to do based on conversation with our friends in Haiti. To learn more, visit WTHP at www.wtnhaitipartnership.org.

Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD)
Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) is the compassionate response of the Episcopal Church to human suffering in the world. Hearing God's call to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being, ERD serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world. It faithfully administers the funds that are received from the Church and raised from other sources. It provides relief in times of disaster and promotes sustainable development by identifying and addressing the root causes of suffering. It cherishes its partnerships within the Anglican Communion, with ecumenical bodies and with others who share a common vision for justice and peace among all people. Missionaries in South Africa
Church of the Holy Communion, along with other parishes in the Diocese of West Tennessee and through The Episcopal Church, sponsor Appointed Missionaries, Heidi Schmidt and Monica Vega for their service in Grahamstown, South Africa. Their ministry to children/families impacted by HIV/AIDS, includes feeding and caring for some of the nearly forgotten orphans in the villages of Ilinge and Bolotwa whose parents have died in the epidemic. They also use some of our funds to purchase simple, recreational equipment and a few musical instruments to enhance the lives of those they serve.
