We are Servant Leaders in a Servant Church
Servant Leaders - Servant Church
Grounded in the servant ministry of Jesus, Church of the Holy Communion serves from God's abundance through our time, talent, and treasures - humbly striving to do our part in creating the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Throughout this broken world, our hope is to make a difference. Daily, we ask for prayers as we do the work entrusted to us by God and for God. "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." -- Matthew 25:34-45
We exercise servant ministry through a variety of initiatives and organizations with a five-area focus. Poverty = Feed, clothe, and shelter those with less throughout the world. Community = Seek to connect God's people across lines of race, class, ethnicity, and privilege, and efforts toward good stewardship of creation. Healthcare = Focus on healing and wholeness of mind, body, and spirit. Education = Serve at-risk and/or less-able children, youth, and adults. Hospitality = Offer parish space and facilities for faith-based and certain non-profit entities to gather for meetings and special events.
