Team Read Tutors: Once a week after school with second-graders at Emmanuel Center, 604 St. Paul Ave. in Team Read, a program that helps children increase the number of sight words they quickly recognize. This program in the second grade shows strong results in the children's standardized test scores.
This is a great way to help for an hour or so a week. You'll be surprised how quickly you build relationships with the children and staff at Emmnauel Center.
